About The Position

The PT Assistant at Atoka County Healthcare Authority is responsible for supporting the Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapist Manager in delivering therapeutic interventions. This role requires adherence to professional practices and ethical standards, while contributing to a team environment to enhance patient care and recovery.

Requirements

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved Associate's Degree program and must meet the practice requirements of the appropriate State.
• Experience in participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Demonstrated history of effectively communicating and maintaining a professional image and attitude with patients, families, clients, and coworkers.
• Familiarity with adhering to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations.
• Ability to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapist Manager.
• Capability to work effectively in a team environment, applying professional practices and ethical standards.
• Strong communication skills to maintain a professional image and attitude.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to organizational policies.
