The Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) AZ program is dedicated to expanding access to PA education through an innovative hybrid model that prepares highly competent, compassionate physician assistants who deliver patient-centered care and advocacy for the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Franklin Pierce University’s Graduate Academic Center in Goodyear, Arizona is the home campus to its MPAS-AZ hybrid program. The program fosters the development of critical thinking, lifelong learning, and professional resilience. We utilize standardized patients (SPs) to impact student experiences while on campus for immersive training. Events will likely occur during the months of June, August, and February. The hours are flexible and dependent on the scheduled activities during each immersive week. Activities will occur Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. SPs will be asked to attend mandatory trainings which may be in person or virtual in the weeks leading up to each immersive.
