About The Position

Serve as an essential member of the Academic Advising Center (AAC) by providing front-line advising support, managing student traffic flow, and ensuring timely response to student inquiries and callback requests. Collaborate with the Academic Advising Center team, faculty, and student services staff to address the advising needs of individual students and groups. Understand and interpret CFCC policies, procedures, and academic degree plans to facilitate student success through accurate guidance and support. This position may provide advising support at multiple campus locations, including the North Campus, as needed. The Part-Time Academic Advisor plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment by greeting students, assessing their needs, and ensuring every interaction reflects the college's commitment to excellence in service and radical hospitality.
