About The Position

CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation, LLC (CCCC) is seeking one or more psychotherapists to join their collaborative clinical team. This multidisciplinary healthcare and behavioral health group practice serves clients throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. The role involves providing high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. CCCC offers a collegial environment that supports professional growth, clinical collaboration, and long-term development, with opportunities for community engagement, clinical education, interdisciplinary consultation, corporate and organizational consultation, wellness initiatives, leadership and management, and training and professional development. The practice emphasizes flexible scheduling, with options for full-time or part-time, remote, hybrid, or in-office service, and evening/weekend availability. A dedicated administrative team handles operational demands such as scheduling, billing, credentialing, insurance coordination, and patient support.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Virginia or Maryland.
  • Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
  • Priority consideration given to clinicians willing to serve pre-adolescent populations
  • Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Must be local

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with range of diverse clientele, with priority given to clinicians who serve families
  • Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (some in-person availability preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate.
  • Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications.
