About The Position

CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation, LLC (CCCC) is a well-established, multidisciplinary healthcare and behavioral health group practice serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. We are seeking one or more psychotherapists to join our collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Psychotherapists who specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and elder care are welcome. Our diverse referral base provides opportunities to work with children, adolescents, and adults, depending on your clinical interests, experience, specialty, and availability. CCCC offers a collegial environment designed to support professional growth, clinical collaboration, and long-term development.

Requirements

  • Must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland.
  • Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
  • Priority consideration given to clinicians willing to serve pre-adolescent populations
  • Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Must be local

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with range of diverse clientele, with priority given to clinicians who serve families
  • Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (some in-person availability preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate.
  • Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications.
