About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Psychotherapist to join its growing Behavioral Health program in Fairfield, California. The role is suited to a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with experience treating patients across the lifespan, ideally from age 5 through geriatric populations. SMG is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 1,600 clinicians practicing across seven counties in Northern California. Its clinicians work in clinical practice and may also be engaged in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work. The position offers advanced practice technology, including EPIC, and is described as supporting a positive work-life balance.
Requirements
- Professional license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- At least two years of experience treating patients across the lifespan, ideally ages 5 through geriatric.
- For applicants pursuing the LCSW qualification: a state of California registered LCSW license.
- For applicants pursuing the LCSW qualification: a Master’s Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by CSWE.
