Psychotherapist - Outpatient - FT (hybrid)
About The Position
The Psychotherapist will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care according to identified needs. This role involves managing clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques. The psychotherapist will write appropriate treatment and discharge plans based on patient diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation, and will collaborate with guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery. Responsibilities also include completing patient care assignments with attention to detail and accuracy, providing accurate and consistent documentation of patient care/response in the medical record, and completing accurate and timely billing information. The role also involves designing, planning, and implementing effective patient education and maintaining open lines of communication, collaborating with the healthcare team for patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education required.
- Full licensure in applicable state required.
- 2 years clinical experience required.
- CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting.

- Experience in trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Background in rehabilitation or other medical setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
