This is a full-time position for a Psychotherapist in an Outpatient Behavioral Health setting. The role involves providing quality individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy focused on patient diagnoses and needs. It includes crisis intervention, case management, utilization review, and making appropriate referrals. The psychotherapist will also participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and provide consultation with other professionals. Community education, outreach, referral development, and marketing efforts are also part of the role. Accurate and timely documentation is essential, including treatment plans, discharge summaries, and billing records. The position also involves assisting in treatment development, innovation, and improvements, as well as participating in performance improvement activities. The role requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assessing patient needs based on age-specific requirements.
