Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health discipline
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
  • Additional relevant experience and/or education may be considered in place of the above, at the Personnel Officer's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day success of your psychosocial program, from staffing to service quality
  • Provide hands-on supervision and coaching to your team, individually and in groups
  • Step in with direct client services whenever the program needs you
  • Be the point person your staff can count on — including 24-hour availability for emergencies
  • Support fellow programs with backup supervision when needed
  • Ensure every service reflects recovery-oriented, culturally competent best practices
  • Connect clients and staff with the community resources that make recovery possible
  • Recognize when a client needs a higher level of care and make the call promptly
  • Manage staffing, documentation, billing, and re-authorizations with precision and speed
  • Partner with Accounting to resolve billing issues quickly
  • Keep spending on track and minimize unnecessary costs
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, flagging repairs or replacements early
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing standards, contracts, and agency policy
  • Partner with your supervisor to shape the program's annual plan
  • Track performance improvement indicators, census, and outcome data
  • Run regular staff meetings that turn insight into action
  • Report incidents promptly and transparently
  • Represent the agency professionally with payers, community partners, and at interagency meetings
  • Respond quickly and thoughtfully to client complaints or grievances
  • Handle HR-approved disciplinary actions in line with agency policy
