About The Position

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist to work 4-5 days a week in their Bountiful and Salt Lake City offices. The role involves assisting in psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. There are potential growth opportunities within the company. Psychometrists work under the direction of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists, with this position primarily based in the South Ogden location after training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology to gain firsthand experience in the field.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in psychology or other relevant major i.e. neuroscience

• Experience with assessment or research, statistical analysis

Responsibilities

• Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments to clients of all ages and abilities.
• Prepare all materials, protocols, and stimuli needed for administration, including entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection.
• Administer and score assessments professionally, ethically, and by following specific directions.
• Scan and upload all results to the client’s file for the psychologist to interpret.
• Enter all numerical data derived from the assessments into the client’s pending report.
• Build rapport with the client, ensure their level of comfort, and sense their needs during the testing session.
