About The Position
Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist to work 4-5 days a week in their Bountiful and Salt Lake City offices. This role involves assisting in psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. The position offers potential growth opportunities within the company. Psychometrists work under the direction of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists. This role is ideal for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology seeking firsthand experience in the field.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in psychology or other relevant major, e.g., neuroscience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the mental and behavioral health field and patient population.
- Experience working with children.
- Experience with assessment or research, statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages and abilities.
- Prepare all materials, protocols, and stimuli needed for administration, including entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection.
- Administer and score assessments professionally, ethically, and by following specific directions.
- Scan and upload all results to the client’s file for the psychologist to interpret.
- Enter all numerical data derived from the assessments into the client’s pending report.
- Build rapport with the client, ensure their level of comfort, and sense their needs during the testing session.
