About The Position

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist to work 4-5 days a week in their Bountiful and Salt Lake City offices. The psychometrist will assist in psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. There are potential growth opportunities available within the company. Psychometrists work under the direction of a team of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists. This position would primarily be in the Bountiful and SLC locations after training. This would be a great position for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology to gain firsthand experience in the psychology field.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in psychology or other relevant major i.e., neuroscience

• Experience with the mental and behavioral health field and patient population
• Experience working with children
• Experience with assessment or research, statistical analysis

Responsibilities

• Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages and abilities.
• Prepare all materials, protocols, and stimuli needed for administration. This involves entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection.
• Assessments must be administered and scored professionally, ethically, and by following specific directions.
• Scanning and uploading all of the results to the client’s file for the psychologist to then interpret.
• Entering all of the numerical data derived from the assessments into the client’s pending report.
• Build rapport with the client, ensure their level of comfort, and sense their needs during the testing session.
