Under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager, the Psychometrist carries out duties as a member of a multi-disciplinary team within the Clinical Services Program. The Psychometrist will work collaboratively with all Health and Wellness Programs, to continually assess current program delivery, recommend and participate in new strategies in order to facilitate changes that will enhance client care. The Psychometrist must have experience and a strong interest in working with Anishinabek people. Responsibilities include administering psychological tests to children, youth, adults, families and affiliated First Nation communities; as well as providing counselling services, case management navigation, regular travel to First Nation Communities and providing support to programs within the Agency as required. Clinical supervision will be provided by the one of the Agency’s Psychologist’s. The Psychometrist must be able to conduct themselves with professionalism and in compliance with the CPA Ethical Guidelines. The Psychometrist will ensure the provision of cultural and clinical best practices that are consistent with the vision, mission and core values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.
