About The Position
A psychometrist administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests under the guidance of a clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist. They observe and record behavioral observations during assessments, which aid in test interpretation. Additionally, psychometrists collect demographic information from patients, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data for evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university OR currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field, with relevant experience.
- No experience required with Bachelor's Degree. While pursuing degree, a minimum of 200 documented hours of training under a licensed Neuropsychologist who meets the Houston Guidelines of Neuropsychology is required
- Ability to understand, adhere to, and model Core Standards as defined both organizationally and specifically within the department/unit.
