About The Position

Makes all professional psychological judgments in care of patients seen. Assesses an individual’s psychological wellness needs. Requires detailed knowledge of individual’s specialty in terms of theories and practice; ability to make decisions that require significant analysis and investigation and ability to determine appropriate courses of action in more complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Psychological assessments according to population served.
• Evaluating results of testing, ie: health behaviors, psychological screening, and personality behaviors.
• Administer depression, anxiety screens, and drug/alcohol screening.
• Make outside referrals for continued care as necessary.
• Provide ongoing counseling and group work, as determined necessary.
