About The Position

Open Door Health Services is seeking a full-time Psychologist in Muncie, Indiana. Psychologists at Open Door Health Services plan, organize, and deliver equitable, trauma-informed behavioral health services to patients and families within Open Door’s integrated care model. In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling services to patients with a wide range of behavioral health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use concerns. You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, families, and community partners to ensure coordinated and integrated care. You may supervise and evaluate the performance of postdoctoral fellows, predoctoral interns, students, and licensed masters – level clinicians. This position works with adults and children and involves approximately 90% direct clinical care, 10% administrative and documentation time, and ~36 patient visits per week. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Open Door Health Services provides comprehensive primary, urgent, preventive, and select specialty services and social support programs for individuals and families, regardless of their ability to pay. Requirements

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist with Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) endorsement in the State of Indiana
  • Doctorate in counseling, school, or clinical psychology from an APA accredited doctoral program
  • One year of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, preferred
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license or ability to travel between sites as needed
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient-centered care
  • Experience working with adults and children
  • Understanding of the social determinants of health and their influence on patient outcomes
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation and diagnostic standards (ICD)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ethical practice standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based, integrated care environment
  • Comfort using electronic health records (EHRs) and digital assessment tools
