The Psychologist provides direct service to patients in a Behavioral Health Program area. This role involves completing psychosocial assessments, psychological testing, and treatment plans in cooperation with the patient and a multidisciplinary team. The Psychologist will conduct comprehensive assessments of clinical needs, develop treatment plans with patients, and deliver behavioral health care within the scope of their license. Responsibilities include crisis assessment and intervention, coordinating care with physicians and other professionals, providing discharge planning, and referring patients to community resources. The role also involves participating in clinical collaboration, maintaining patient documentation, attending meetings, and contributing to performance improvement activities.
