About The Position
This position is eligible for hiring incentives to include an $8,000 sign-on bonus. Find your purpose and make an impact on CentraCare’s Behavioral Health Observation Unit team, where you’ll provide diagnostic assessment, psychological testing, and psychotherapy services for patients and families with medical and behavioral health problems. This role supports patients and their families experiencing anxiety, depression, pain, stress, trauma, and other behavioral health conditions.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required.
- Minimum of one-year full-time internship required.
- Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP) required or must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
- Familiar with laws regarding commitment, confidentiality, vulnerable adult, child protection and patients’ rights.
- Successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred
- Licensure at the time of hire is preferred.
