The Child and Adolescent Protection Center is seeking a clinical psychologist to join our team. The Child and Adolescent Protection Center is a nationally recognized hospital-based child abuse team at Children’s National Hospital recognized for its comprehensive care of and services for children and youth affected by child physical abuse, sexual violence and neglect. The Mental Health Clinician will provide psychological and developmental assessments, clinical mental health/trauma assessments and treatment of children and youth affected by violence and abuse, as well as case consultation and advocacy. Must be an independently licensed Psychologist in the District of Columbia. Our ideal candidate will have experience with evidence-based trauma informed treatment modalities such as TFCBT, Child-parent psychotherapy, PCIT, and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma. Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents with developmental, learning and/or emotional disabilities (preferred).
