Provides specific psychological services, including evaluation and assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, health and behavior intervention, education, consultation, research and other psychological services to individuals and groups with a primary focus on the evidenced based HABIT Healthy Action to Benefit Independence and Thinking Program ® for patients living with Mild Cognitive Impairment and a loved-one partner. This position will additionally support alumni of the HABIT program with a variety of evidence based interventions for individuals with cognitive impairment and caregivers/partners. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary HABIT team which includes a Neuropsychologist Director, HABIT coordinator, other Master’s level providers, and yoga therapist. This provider may also be asked support other neurological populations (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, functional neurologic disorders) with psychotherapeutic interventions as needed. As such the this position will also collaborate closely with the broader Neuropsychology division in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.
