About The Position

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is hiring a passionate, licensed Psychologist to strengthen our screening, assessment, diagnostic, and risk assessment services. This role is crucial for providing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan and supporting clinical teams with diagnostic clarity for complex presentations. The position is part-time, with 8 hours per week, and offers competitive pay commensurate with education, licensure, and experience. Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois
  • A valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of automobile insurance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations as performed by a licensed clinical psychologist.
  • Accept referrals for individuals across the lifespan, including cases requiring diagnosis clarification.
  • Complete psychological examinations for youth requiring evaluation prior to residential placement.
  • Perform risk assessments to support safe, appropriate levels of care and treatment planning.
  • Synthesize clinical interview, testing, and collateral data into clear diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
  • Partner with the multidisciplinary care team to integrate assessment findings into individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete timely, thorough evaluation reports in accordance with agency, state, and CCBHC standards.
