About The Position
Centurion Health is partnering with the Illinois Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join their team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. Logan Correctional Center is a multi-level security facility for female and transgender individuals and serves as the state's female intake, reception, and classification center. The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological leadership, consultation, and direct services for patients within the facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat mental and emotional disorders. Lincoln, Illinois is described as a safe city with affordable housing, conveniently located near major cities.
Requirements
- Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program.
- Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides psychological leadership, consultation, and direct services for patients in an assigned facility.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.
