The school psychologist will work collaboratively with other school staff to address the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students in the William S. Hart Union High School District. Specific duties include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and inform interventions Providing individual and group counseling to students to address a range of concerns, including academic struggles, mental health issues, and behavioral challenges Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective interventions and support plans Conducting workshops and trainings for staff and parents on topics such as behavior management and mental health awareness Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to help develop appropriate goals and accommodations for students with disabilities Collaborating with community resources to provide support for students and families as needed.
