About The Position

The Work, Stress and Health (WSH) service is seeking a full-time, permanent Psychologist. The WSH is a unique, revenue-generating service within CAMH that works exclusively with third-party insurers. In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing assessment and treatment services to clients referred by the WSIB. This service specializes in assessment and outpatient treatment for individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other psychiatric disorders related to the workplace. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based treatment in individual and group formats, addressing psychological functioning, diagnosis, and return to work. You will also participate in multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary education, clinical supervision, and training. This position is currently located at 250 College Street, with the possibility of hybrid arrangements. There is a particular need for psychologists to conduct interdisciplinary assessments, and there may be an opportunity to work in the service conducting assessments only, without treatment.

Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship.
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments.
  • Experience in providing evidence-based treatment.
  • Experience working with individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other psychiatric disorders related to the workplace.
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
