This role serves as the Commission’s subject‑matter expert in psychological testing, evaluation, and assessment of incarcerated individuals. The position works independently to prepare detailed psychological reports, provide professional recommendations for case planning, and support Commission members in decision‑making related to parole, MAPP agreements, and medical release considerations. The evaluator also reviews confidential records and completes mental‑health aftercare memorandums for individuals releasing to post‑release supervision. Some travel is required, and applicants may be asked to provide a sample of their work during the interview process.
