About The Position

Melrose Center is seeking a Psychologist or Masters Level mental health therapist to join their team. This position focuses on providing Eating Disorder assessment and outpatient eating disorder treatment using empirically supported treatment modalities to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on adolescents. The role requires dedicating at least 80% of time to face-to-face psychological services within Park Nicollet Health Services, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective care.

Requirements

  • Doctoral or master’s degree in psychology or related field of study.
  • Two or more years of relevant clinical experience (e.g., diagnostic assessments, individual, family and group counseling), including working with multidisciplinary teams in a medical/mental health setting.
  • Obtains and maintains an active MN state license as a doctoral level psychologist or master’s level mental health therapist.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related, developmental principles necessary to provide appropriate services and ensure patient safety.
  • Proven proficiency in operating: telephone/voicemail, personal computer (applicable software applications), photocopier, fax machine, and printer.

  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make sound, ethical decisions.
  • Experience treating individuals with eating disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Eating Disorder assessment and outpatient eating disorder treatment using empirically supported treatment modalities to patients of all ages (with an emphasis on serving adolescents).
  • Dedicate at least 80% of time providing face-to-face psychological services to patients.
  • Operate telephone/voicemail, personal computer (applicable software applications), photocopier, fax machine, and printer.
  • Comply with safety instructions, observe safe work practices, provide input on safety issues, and promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance.
  • Protect confidentiality.
  • Participate in and support the organization's Corporate Integrity Program by participating in compliance-related education and training and complying with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Complete all mandatory education and organizational requirements (i.e., licensure/certification, Employee Health and Wellness requirements, annual training, etc.) in a timely manner.
