Psychologist Assistant
About The Position
This position will assist in providing mental health care services under the supervision of a psychologist. Various responsibilities include patient intakes, psychological assessments, assisting in developing treatment plans, collecting/analyzing data to determine treatment efficacy, participating in off grounds patient outings. This position will also provide group counseling services as well as assist with individual therapy. Perform other related duties as assigned. This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position, as needed. Candidate must successfully pass a background screening.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology from an accredited college or university
