About The Position

Four Winds Hospital is seeking a Psychological Testing Technician to work with patients in the administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests. This is an in-person, onsite role at our Westchester Campus in Katonah, NY. The position involves managing patients referred for psychological testing, escorting them to and from the testing center, interviewing them, and administering standardized psychometric measures under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. The technician will participate in the assessment of children, adolescents, and adults and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
• Some experience working with psychiatric patients required.

• Master’s degree in some area of psychology.
• Experience with psychological tests.

Responsibilities

• Management of patients who are referred for psychological testing.
• Escort patients to and from the testing center.
