About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a licensed psychologist in Huntsville, AL to provide psychological assessments in an evaluation-only role. This position is ideal for clinicians who prefer testing and diagnostic work over ongoing therapy. The role offers flexible scheduling options, including disability evaluations (one day per month, in-person required) and optional VA telehealth work (up to one day per week, starting via telehealth). The structure is flexible with low commitment, but has potential to expand hours. The position is assessment-focused with minimal administrative burden, offering a supportive and structured evaluation environment.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
- Active, unrestricted Alabama psychology license
- Strong psychological testing and assessment experience
- Must be comfortable evaluating pediatric and adult populations
- Ability to work independently and produce detailed clinical reports

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and behavioral assessments for children, adolescents, and adults
- Administer and interpret cognitive, intellectual, and functional testing as needed
- Complete Mental Status Exams and clinical documentation
- Prepare clear, objective, evidence-based evaluation reports
- Maintain accurate electronic records
