Psychiatry Physician in Evergreen Park, Illinois
About The Position
Established outpatient psychiatric practice actively seeks a BC/BE psychiatrist to join three psychiatrists, behavioral health therapists, registered nurses, CMAs, and supportive office staff. The patient population includes both adult and child & adolescents. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday with flexibility to support a 4-day work week; no weekends or holidays. After-hours call is phone only with an answering service taking the initial call. This role offers a collaborative environment with additional clinical support from the Behavioral Health Service Line to support continuity of care across all levels of treatment. The practice utilizes Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to adult and child & adolescent patients in an outpatient setting.
- Participate in a phone-only after-hours call rotation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, and CMAs.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient charting and management.
- Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Ensure eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
