Psychiatry Physician - Psychiatrist
About The Position
A thriving multispecialty medical group in southern Texas is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist for a 100% outpatient practice focused on caring for a diverse adult patient population, including a small number of geriatric patients. The physician will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management during a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule without inpatient responsibilities, while participating in a shared phone-based call rotation. Spanish fluency is required to effectively communicate with the patient population, and the position offers a competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in General Psychiatry.
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
- Willingness to participate in a shared, phone-based on-call rotation.
