About The Position

The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and WVU School of Medicine’s Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry seek a Psychiatrist at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, West Virginia, providing excellent patient care in psychiatry and participating in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 faculty and advances patient care, education, research, and outreach. Its work includes developing innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions. The position is based at 930 Chestnut Ridge Road in Morgantown.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical licensure.
• Completion of a psychiatry residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of psychiatry.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
