About The Position
Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD) to provide exceptional psychiatric care and contribute to shaping the future of psychiatric services. This role offers more than traditional clinical practice, with opportunities for physician leadership, clinical excellence, quality initiatives, physician mentorship, and psychiatric program development as BHC expands. The position can be 100% remote, with options for hybrid or in-person practice at BHC offices across Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
- Active DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care
Nice To Haves
- Interest in physician leadership
- Interest in mentoring other psychiatric providers
- Experience with clinical program development
- Interest in quality improvement and psychiatric service expansion
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Manage patient medications and provide follow-up psychiatric care.
- Engage in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry.
- Perform telepsychiatry and in-person psychiatric services.
- Participate in collaborative treatment planning.
- Provide care for specialty psychiatric populations based on physician expertise.
- Offer clinical mentorship of psychiatric providers.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of physicians.
- Develop psychiatric clinical standards and evidence-based practices.
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
- Engage in psychiatric program development and expansion.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Provide physician education and clinical consultation.
- Develop psychiatric services across Wisconsin.
- Advance into a Medical Director or physician leadership role.
