The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and WVU School of Medicine’s Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry seek Psychiatrists for Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. The successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and be board certified/eligible in psychiatry. Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit, acute-care community hospital and member of the West Virginia University Health System. The Behavioral Health Unit is a 25 acute bed facility designed to meet the acute mental health needs of patients ages 18 and above. Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry see patients ages 5 years or older in a new outpatient clinic, offering services including outpatient therapy, medication management, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is part of the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, which spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions. The WVUHS is a large health system with over 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees, serving a multi-state region.
