About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Psychiatrist for a brand-new Crisis Receiving Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. This behavioral health leadership role provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical oversight for adults experiencing behavioral health emergencies while helping launch and grow a new crisis program. This role involves direct patient care, working alongside crisis clinicians and nursing staff, and collaborating with community partners. There are also teaching opportunities with medical and PA students.

Requirements

• Board Certified Psychiatrist (MD Or DO) REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 Years Of Psychiatric Experience REQUIRED
• Ability To Provide Psychiatric Care For Adults In Crisis Settings REQUIRED
• Ability To Provide Clinical Leadership And Work Within A Collaborative Care Team REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Crisis Psychiatry Experience Preferred
• Dual Diagnosis Experience Preferred
