About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their growing behavioral health team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This full-time position involves practicing in a dynamic adult behavioral health setting with responsibilities across inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consult services, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services. The role also includes academic psychiatry involvement through Graduate Medical Education (GME), resident teaching, and medical student supervision. As the behavioral health program expands, there will be opportunities to help shape future outpatient psychiatry services and contribute to long-term program development. Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
  • South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Strong communication and collaborative care skills

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in adult psychiatry, behavioral health, consult psychiatry, and ECT preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning
  • Deliver care in inpatient psychiatry, consult liaison psychiatry, PHP, and IOP settings
  • Perform psychiatric consults as needed
  • Participate in and support ECT treatment services
  • Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers and mid-level clinicians
  • Participate in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities
  • Teach and mentor psychiatry residents and medical students
  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
