About The Position

Prairie St. John's, a 132-bed psychiatric care facility in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, it is the largest, free-standing behavioral health facility in the region. Over 4,000 patients receive care from their compassionate health care team each year. This position is for a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Medical Staff for In-Patient Services.

Requirements

• ND Medical License, or ability to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric services for children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
• Address behavioral health and substance use challenges.
• Work with mental health and dual diagnosis patients.
