About The Position
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Psychiatry at Riverside University Health System (RUHS), is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join their Psychiatric Emergency Room team. This is a position within a free-standing, dedicated psychiatric emergency room at a safety-net hospital serving a Medicaid/Medical/uninsured population with severe and chronic mental illness. The role offers opportunities for teaching and mentorship of both residents and medical students. The position is located in Riverside, CA.
Requirements
- Board certified in Psychiatry.
- Experience in acute psychiatric care.
- Commitment to resident education, academic excellence, and professionalism.
- California residency is required upon start date.

- Subspecialty boarding in Forensics, Addictions, or CL.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care in a dedicated psychiatric emergency room.
