About The Position

As we expand our services to better meet the growing needs of our families and individuals, we are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (Adult, Child/Adolescent, or General) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management. Please note that this is a contract position (1099). Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited program.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency program.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Current, unrestricted DEA registration and DPS registration (if applicable).
  • Strong clinical judgment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and professional ethics.

Nice To Haves

  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship is a major plus.
  • Experience in private practice or multidisciplinary outpatient settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk assessments for a diverse patient population.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based pharmacological treatment plans.
  • Provide regular medication management follow-ups, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, counselors, and administrative staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with practice protocols and HIPAA standards.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, risks/benefits of medications, and overall wellness strategies.
