About The Position
Since 2003, we've been assisting children, families and adults across North Carolina with their behavioral health needs. Requirements
- Must be a licensed psychiatrist or physician
- experience with the population served is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals in the ACT program.
- Work with the ACT team to develop and support treatment plans.
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to psychiatric staff.
- Support individuals in achieving recovery goals and maintaining community stability.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and manage medications.
- Participate in team meetings and treatment planning.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to NPs/PAs and team members.
- Collaborate with nursing and ACT staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Overall supervision of all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered.
- Identifying appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practices therapies to be employed by staff in delivering services.
- Consulting with primary healthcare providers/other providers on the clinical aspects of the clients being served and the implications for those clients’ physical healthcare needs.
- Supervision of all other medical staff on the ACT team.
- Be available to respond as needed to ACT team members and collateral medical staff of other providers 24/7/365.
