About The Position
A multispecialty practice in southern Texas is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time outpatient position serving a diverse community in central San Antonio. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive outpatient mental health care, including evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment, with a particular opportunity to support patients who also receive specialty medical care. The role is entirely outpatient with no weekends or call, includes a dedicated administrative day each week, and offers a competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Experience providing psychiatric care to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Board certification or board eligibility in General Psychiatry.
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Commitment to serving diverse and medically complex patient populations in a community health setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
