About The Position
This role involves directing medical treatment for members served within the scope of a Psychiatrist's licensure. The position requires participation in program leadership by collaborating with program staff and members served, and ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This is a per-diem, as-needed coverage position.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
- Successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry.
- Active DEA in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure.
- Participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served.
- Ensure superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
