About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric management for adults (18+) in an acute inpatient setting.
Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical records (EPIC) in compliance with New York State Office of Mental Health regulations.
Collaborate with consultants as needed for patient care.
Lead and work with a multi-disciplinary inpatient team.
Supervise Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatry Residents, and Medical Students.
Manage complex patient cases.
Participate in didactic training programs for residents, medical students, psychology interns, and other trainees.
Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) for a 40-hour work week.
Additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
Estimated annual compensation package includes baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
401(k) Company Contribution: Immediate vesting in a 3% company contribution of base earnings, with an additional 7% after one year of service (no employee match required).
