About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Psychiatric Technician in the Inpatient Mental Health Ward at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This is a full-time position requiring 80 hours of work per pay period, with a rotating schedule of 7am - 7:30pm and 7pm - 7:30am. The role offers the opportunity to care for America's active troops and includes 11 paid federal holidays. A comprehensive benefits package is available, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Requirements
- Possess current certification as a Psychiatric Technician by the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians OR possess evidence of completion of Military Psychiatric Technician Training or Equivalent OR possess an Associate of Arts degree in a behavioral science, or a Bachelors degree in Psychology, or a degree in Sociology or behavioral science related field.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Psychiatric Technician within the the preceding 2 years
- Current BLS certification
