About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related human service field.
At least one year of experience in a related field.
Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and a recovery-driven service system.
Valid driver’s license.
All clearances required by OMHSAS.

Responsibilities

Lead psycho-educational groups to foster peer interaction, problem-solving, and achievement of treatment goals.
Help residents build life skills for independent living.
Maintain accurate documentation and meet reporting requirements.
Assist residents with household tasks and teach daily living skills such as hygiene and time management.
Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Contribute to a therapeutic environment that encourages residents’ personal growth.
