About The Position
The Psychiatric Technician II-2 provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. The technician obtains information about patient condition as requested by nursing staff and reports any changes in patient condition. The position is in Adult Psychiatry at Cox North in Springfield, Missouri, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the day shift, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valuable time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a multitasking environment.
- Obtain department-specific certifications within the designated time frame.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience with mental health or an age-specific population.
