About The Position

The Psychiatric Technician I position at Merakey involves working with and ensuring the safety and welfare of adult residents in a Residential Program, focusing on their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The role includes participating in carrying out residents’ treatment plan goals, assisting with the treatment planning process, and providing direct care support. Requirements

High school Diploma or GED required
Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field, knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required
Valid Driver’s License required
All Clearances required by OMHSAS

Responsibilities

Work with and adhere to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health
Participate in carrying out residents’ treatment plan goals
Assist with the treatment planning process
Provide support with direct care responsibilities
