Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) PM Shift
About The Position
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) is responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting. The PRSA will participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming. This role extends beyond the job description, focusing on providing compassion and companionship to residents, acting as a friend and family member, and partnering with them on their journey to healthy living. Crestwood Terrace is an Intermediate Care Facility providing care to the mentally ill/behavior health population (ages 21 and up). It is a 5-Star Quality measure facility with consistently high patient satisfaction ratings and feedback. The work environment is described as a close-knit team that has fun, with casual Fridays and a manageable workload.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a PRSA in a healthcare center preferred
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
