Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA)
About The Position
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) is responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting. The PRSA will participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming. Frankfort Terrace is a medical facility, providing care to the non-violent mentally ill population. Located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful grounds, trees and flowers – you can ride your bike to work. This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Prior experience as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) in a licensed nursing home.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience helpful.
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is also helpful.
