About The Position
Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatric Prescriber to join their growing behavioral health team, serving clients in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a full-time, exempt position in an outpatient setting. The role involves performing psychiatric assessments for new patients and providing continuity of care for existing patients. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, adhering to organizational policies, and reviewing labs, renewing medications, and conferencing with colleagues daily. The position is part of a collaborative team of medical professionals, including primary care and psychotherapy providers.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited school and board certification in psychiatry.
- An unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing License, Alaska Advanced Practice Registered Nursing License, prescriptive authority, and current DEA certificate.
- Qualified PAs, DOs, and MDs are encouraged to apply.
